Many of members of the greatest generation are around us and a unique historian like Ms. Weigand brings their story to future generations. Hopefully, Texas Republic will keep 'TEXAS WOMEN IN WORLD WAR II' available for many years to come. Like Stephen Ambrose's "Band Of Borthers" it is a treasured reference that should not be over-looked.
