The music in itself is very nice to listen to. You can sample it yourself and decide if its the right kind for you-you don't normally hear music like this on the radio. The experience is of course better if you have seen the anime. The music would mean more to you that way.

I found several moody and curiously engaging tracks, with styles ranging from traditional Balinese to fusion rock/acid trance to dub. There's only one proper vocal track, which is at the end (probably an ending theme?). These are mixed in with some pleasant (but generally forgettable) piano and various weird tracks. The ones that made my playlist are 2, 3, 10, 14, 15, and 16.I haven't seen the series - but, with music like this, it's certain to be at least interesting. I recently bought the box set, and am definitely looking forward to watching it. |
