I think this product is worth 3.5 stars, but only being allowed to give whole star reviews I chose 3 stars because I dont believe its deserves 4. As I use this more Ill come back and edit my post if I need to. I got this bag for a camping trip in Colorado. I am flying out and need a bag to put a tent, two sleeping bags, two camp chairs, and a canopy in for the flight. This bag is so HUGE it will have absolutely no problems carrying all that. The canvas is tough and should hold the weight well. What I am worried about though is the strap and clip. I have one of these sea bags from the Army circa 1950 and I was expecting the same quality out of this bag. The metal clip on this bag is cheap and flimsy, it almost feels like plastic (I know its not, its just how weak it feels). It looks good enough to hold a moderate amount of weight, but I highly doubt the strap and clip could hold the full weight that this bag could carry. You can fit two people in this bag (literally.. I tried). I think going with this size bag would be overkill considering its construction. If you need something to carry as much as this bag can possibly hold I would recommend looking for a better quality bag, and if you dont need to fill this bag to the max, I would recommend getting a smaller bag.

Pros: Very sturdy canvas material, heavy-duty strap, plenty of space. AND the clip IS durable and perfectly adequate.

Cons: The single long strap is not adjustable, and the placement is such that it's awkward carrying this duffel when it's full. It has a canvas grip in addition to (at the base of) the strap, but it was not possible (for me) to balance a load so that the handle is functional. I do not recommend this product for a trip to the laundromat, nor for traveling. It is wonderful for storage, though.
