The Texsport Adjustable tentpole gives you strength and flexibility for a variety of camping needs. Works with any tarp or camping material with grommets such as cabin tents, screen arbors, and dining canopies. Galvanized steel pole adjusts from 3'2" to 8'. Height and tension maintained with friction lock. 3/4" diameter 3-pole system fits into included bag.

The poles were great for about a day. I live in Southern California and it has been windy during the day. One of the poles completely bent in half the second day it was up and now I have something propped against it to keep it standing. They are just too flimsy to be used in any real weather.

I bought 8 poles and took them camping with my son's cub scout pack.
I used these poles to set up tarps over our tent and table.
These poles were easy to use and very strong. However, It rained on our last day of the camp.
I was suprised to find that all 8 poles rusted badly just 2 days later.
I will buy the alumimum pole next time.

I purchased these (3) for an awning I am making for my travel trailer. They are EXTREMELY adjustable with the spike deal at the top to fit into a grommet. These are exactly what I was hoping for.
