It is comfortable, warm, soft, and comfy.

It was lightweight enough to not be miserable at the hottest part of the night, and I stayed asleep during the coolest parts.

Could do into the 40s or 50s but we used in 60 degree weather and were fine.

Nice sleeping bag, lite and take low space when packed tight. Used it for camping in the mountain. temperature in the tent was -5C (23F) and felt warm with an additional liner in the sleeping bag. I'm 1.75m (5.8') high ant it can definitely fits someone bigger. The elastic straps on the bottom are really useful to pack it.

The Caprock sleeping bag is a good bag considering my purpose for it. I wanted a sleeping bag for my son (5yr old). I bought the adult size with the idea that we (the adult parents) could use it in a pinch if needed. Having some camping experience over the years, I wanted a lighter weight (bag weight, not insulation) bag that he could manage himself and that would not take up much room. This bag fits both tasks. It is not bulky and can be compressed down and rolled easily. It appears to be sturdy and the zippers work well with no snags. Overall, it will suit his needs perfectly.
The draw back to the Caprock is it will only fit my boy and not me! At 6'2" and 175lbs I am not a large person, but when trying to squeeze into this bag, I literally had to squeeze in. It felt confining and I had little room to move once it was fully zipped, like a mummy bag. The opening reached to the top of my chest when my feet were against the base. I found very little mobility room left for my arms if they were tucked inside. I have Wenzel Conquests (great quality bags for the price ~$40) for my wife and I's easy camping trips. Speaking of wives, she did fit inside the bag completely with out any problem. So for smaller women the bag would be great as well.
Overall, the bag meets my expectations. A great starter bag for smaller individuals. The stitching is not offset, it is lighter weight insulation, and the base has a 2" diameter hole where the zipper starts; so it's comfort rating of 40 degrees may be a little low. I like it enough to keep it. It will get used and if this is similar to your price range and purpose it would make a good sleeping bag. If anything changes - better or worse - I will update the post.

The bag is comfortable and well made, but gets chilly when the temp drops close to 50F... I just finished a weekend using it and the bag was comfy when the first night was just below 60F, but the second night was just above 50F and it was a chilly night...

I recently used the Texsport Caprock sleeping bag on a tent camping trip in Florida. This bag kept me comfortable in the high humidity, heavy fog, and 51°F overnight low (even though I forgot to pack a camping pad). The inside of the bag is made of a comfortable 80% cotton / 20% polyester blend, which does a decent job of absorbing moisture unlike the 100% polyester bags that are common in this price range. I picked this bag up for about $25, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive warm weather sleeping bag.

It is what it is. Nothing special, just a sleeping bag. Warm enough 38 degree weather layed on top of a mylar blanket.

I was in need of a basic sleeping bag for summer camping - this has done the trick so far! Good quality, no nonsense, easy to roll up and travel with.

I used this bag in mid-June in an unairconditioned cabin in Tennessee when the temperature at bedtime started out in the balmy high 70's and dropped into the mid 60's overnight. I tend to get cold fairly easily and thought it might get chilly without having an extra blanket, but I slept great. It was lightweight enough to not be miserable at the hottest part of the night, and I stayed asleep during the coolest parts. I definitely would not use this by itself in the fall or winter as temperatures begin to drop, but it was great for this trip.

I also read reviews about other sleeping bags being itchy or easily snagged, but the material on this was nice - kind of like a comfortable tshirt on the inside, and a durable satin/nylon on the outside. I also liked that the color could be used by anyone in my family. I'm not a heavy duty camper, so I didn't mind the absence of a bag. The elastic bands are convenient and allow it to be folded up and stored easily.

This sleeping bag is great in a moderate temperature and has a comfy flannel interior. The zipper allows you to open up the sleeping bag all the way and the exterior is a nice shiny color.
