Wonderful text about China,

I am studying this text after nearing the completion of two beginning texts from another series. I find that I can identify most of but not all of the characters in the first few chapters. I find that the subject matter is interesting and having lived in a fast moving China myself I can still relate to the topics discussed. I am very excited about this book and I feel like it is for someone who has completed a couple of years of college level study or has worked through to the intermediate level in self study. I hope that this brief write-up helps someone. Best of luck in the pursuit of learning the Chinese language!! Enjoy it!!
