I purchased this program with the intention of entering a bunch of typewritten pages into my computer. The document that this program produced from newly typed material was so full of errors that I simply had to re-type. It would have taken longer to correct than to re-type. When I talked to Textbridge about these problems all they would tell me is that the program was not meant for such use and that I should buy one of their other programs which had good optical character recognition capabilities. In other words, they know the product is not any good and they are not willing to stand behind it. The program is useless for optical character recognition work or anything else.

This product simply does not produce accurate results. It skips entire lines, words on the same line, and misreads even the most legible characters. It came bundled with my scanner, so at least I did not waste my money on it. Don't waste yours!

The product does not live up to its description.
It is very inaccurate. It creates more work than it saves.
It is slow to work with in every aspect.
I am very dissatisfied.

Textbridge was recommended to me to solve my problems of scanning originals into a word document. This product definitely disappointed me. It did not do the job. I still ended up with a mess in the word document. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

This is a great programme with Windows XP but be aware that it conflicts with Vista,the latest version of Windows. An upgrade is recommended by Nuance,the manufacturer to OmniPage at double the cost of Textbridge.

I gave this a favorable review a few weeks ago but I bought a copy of "Omnipage Pro" from the same company and it blows textbridge away. It was on special for $100 and includes "paperport". Omnipage incorporated the best things about textbridge and a lot more. My review changed from a "4" to a "1" because of the alternative.

The TextBridge Pro 11 does not work nearly as well as hyped. It doesn't retain page layout. Only marginally better than the TextBridge Pro 9 that I was previously using. In fact, there was one feature the older version had that the newer one doesn't, so that makes using the newer version a little more cumbersome. I should have saved my money. The seller, however was fabulous in helping me with my order.

I preferred the instant access feature of earlier versions, I find the new arrangement is less convenient but it works.
I have not been able to get the page layout to work properly yet, I assume that this will sort out OK in due course.
There is a definite improvement in character recognition from my early version.

TextBridge Pro 11 Very good. Easy to install and train. Works very well with ms word.

Received item promptly. Easy to use, I was scanning documents within 15 minutes of loading software.
