2.0 out of 5 stars Inadequate Index, May 23, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: A Textbook on ATM Telecommunications: Principles and Implementation (Hardcover)
It appears that author has put a lot of effort in preparing the book. However, whoever prepared the the index, did so very poorly. A lot of things which are covered in the book are missing from the index. In addition, author repeats same text more than once in the book. This is not what I expect from a well written book.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT TEXT BOOK, April 26, 2002
By
This review is from: A Textbook on ATM Telecommunications: Principles and Implementation (Hardcover)
This is the onlybook in the market that is comrehensively written on this subject. The solved examples and exercises are very practical. This book can be revised to include next generation networks. There some typographical errors, which author must correct. Overall, this is an excellent book

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing reference book, August 11, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: A Textbook on ATM Telecommunications: Principles and Implementation (Hardcover)
I was disappointed to go through this book, especially since I was eagerly awaiting it. In fact, I had pre-ordered it. As the title suggests, this is basically a textbook, but as a reference book, not only did I found it not very useful, I also found it outdated.

I am not commenting on the usefulness of this book as a textbook ----- to be fair I found some of the assignments challenging ----- but I believe it falls below the standard of a useful reference book.
