This has worked better than anything I else I have used up to now. I used to use Artec Material Line which I guess was discontinued? This is very similar to that. It has a nice texture, adds volume, isn't too sticky or hard and washes off your hands easily. I would purchase it again!

I've never really had a lot of success w/ hair products until this one. Since using this product I've noticed that I'm wearing my hair down a lot more (I usually pull it up in a ponytail before long). It also smells incredible.

I had tried this product when my husband brought it home from his salon. I wound up using it. The consistency was great and it seemed to hold my hair style when I punked up my hair. When I had finished it up, I tried to get another jar, but no local salons or beauty stores carried it, so I went to Amazon to find it. Great product! It has a pleasant smell and is not terribly sticky.

I'm a guy and I bought this product from a local salon in West Hollywood because I wanted to find something that was easily applied to my hair, didn't need 3 other products to make it work right, and provided strong hold throughout the day without being sticky or crunchy like waxes or gels. As a longtime fan of Sumotech, the guy at the salon recommended this as a similar product but with better hold and applicability. After using this for a month I have to agree. The smell is nice but not overbearing. Easy to wash out with shampoo. I have thick hair and this product still works great despite the label saying it's for thin hair. Works best for me when I apply about a nickel sized amount to my palms, rub my palms together to warm it up, then I work the product through my hair for a few minutes to make sure it's evenly distributed. I really work it in there and play with it until it doesn't look like there's any in there. What will result (at least in my case) is texture-rich hair that supports its style, is reworkable throughout the day, and even gives my stick straight hair some movement and curves. Very fun product to play around with and see what you can do.

One of my relatives was given this by his hair stylist to try. He has curly hair that tends to get frizzy at the ends. This product works well for him and gives him softer looking curls. It is expensive but we've found it worth the price for his hard to manage hair.
