4.0 out of 5 stars Same as "Brand New Heavies"!!
OK, it is a very good bnh CD. But be careful, it is just the "Brand New Heavies" CD with EXACTLY THE SAME SONGS in a different order. So if you already have this CD do not buy the other one or your will have duplicated (as it happens to me). A very good CD anyway.

2.0 out of 5 stars The reviews were right
The reviews were right, this CD is a copy of the original bnh CD with the same cuts in a different order. I wish I had bought the CD bnh made with some rappers instead. I am glad to have every possible bnh CD for I think they were one of the greatest un-known bands of the 90s. I have 7 bnh CDs and will buy at least one more.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's Pretty Darn Good..., April 6, 2000
This review is from: Tha Beginning (Audio CD)
I'm not big fan of funk, but this band got me to appreciate that type of music. These tracks are strictly funked-out. However, you should buy this one just for "Stay This Way" alone. It took me about 7 years to figure out who made that song, and I'm not surprised that it turned out to be BNH. I believe they originated the whole acid jazz scene. Get it if you don't have it yet.
