I love this CD,
This review is from: Tha Carter III (Audio CD)
All of the Lil Wayne Cds are very well written and are good music. I recommend these Cds to anyone, including people who do not especially listen to rap all the time.I am not a huge rap fan, but I think Lil Wayne is very talented and is great with his metaphors.

This album is damn good to ride around to. This is actually my second copy, mine got broke in a car accident last year and I finally bought a new copy today.I was a senior in high school when this album came out and I actually hated LiL Wayne back then as I am more of a Jazz/Funk/Alternative junkie and 80s 90s hip-hop fan. When It comes to Rap though I love stuff like The Roots,Outkast,Goody Mob,Dre,Snoop,Mos Def,Wu Tang etc. I heard Carter III most of 2008 though when I worked at a Pawn Shop and I finally gave in when I was singing Mr.Carter all day long in my head so O well... All the reviewers on Amazon who hate this album, I really can't understand why I love most of the tracks because it's just a fun mindless pop-type rap album. If you wanna think about your rap, listen to RZA,or Nas, or Mos Def, sometimes I just wanna listen to catchy stuff I can't help it. Really Good Album Solid 5 Stars! CARTER IV Next Month!

I'm a person who has been waiting for tha carter III for almost a year beacuse of mixed up ralese days and a lot of leaking from big mike from his carter III recording sessions. I was diggin all of the mixtapes and a lot of tracks i was sure would be on the album (orginal prostitute, la la la,Shot to the heart, Mr Postman, Did it beofore are some. But the tracks on here are okay but not as good as i hoped

When will we wake up from the 2000s and realize that the entire decade was made up of albums that sucked like Lil Wayne's Carter III? How can this be number 3 in sales rank? Because people with no true musical taste bought this MP3 album for $5 so they can be "hardcore" while driving in front of their high school in the morning and afternoons. This is one of the worst albums I have heard in a long time. It degrades women, glorifies the idiotic 'thug' life, and is more explicit than artful. Whoever labeled this as music was mistaken...it is pure cRap...it isn't even Rap music...there are a lot of kids out there who have been rapping or making music since they were 12 and they are much better than this 'thug' wannabe.

Atrocity,

Yet another abomination by the pop rapper Lil Wayne. This is kiddie rap, mainstream filth for the masses of morons. No wonder this is 5 bucks at Best Buy.

Lil wayne uses autotune on his voice to delve into the mainstream. His lyrics are whack and his flow is slow and clumsy. His songs degrade women and he has no substance in his music. I think he's garbage. Then again I listen to really great rap like Public Enemy and Canibus. I shouldn't even review this worthless piece of plastic and aluminum but I wanted to put my two cents in and tell you suckas whats up.

Another retarded piece of crap from lil weasel.,
This review is from: Tha Carter III (Audio CD)
Well idk why ppl like this dude so much. Maybe is because most ppl who support Wayne, got a brain cell the size of rice ? From begining to end, the whole album lacks originality, lirycs,, beats. Not only does Wayne sound like his trying way to hard to sound like jay z but his voice is so so so so so so annoying!!!! Listing ppl, hip hop needs to come back and not go down. But when you lil kids who are 12 or 11 keep supporting this garbage. It will keep going down hill and wont stop. Listing to wutang, the roots, mosdef, doom, killarmy, Jeru damaja, oc, nas, kool g rap. I kno thats too deep for your lil dumb ass minds but give em a try.

Why does every rapper want to be the devil?
Did you know: he is responsible for the deaths of your homies. he hates you too. he's afraid of the mere mentioning of the name JESUS. will inevitably die, no chance in rewriting the prophecies. lost in the fight against GOD, have fun following a loser, ha!! the album is average. |
