3.0 out of 5 stars Old school to da rescue
Yep, it's yours truly Defprince! again reviewing an old veteran of hip hop. My boy Derrick ( D- Nice ) is as underrated as a bow at Christmas time. This particular album is o.k, not as great as his debut album entitled " Call me D-nice" though, but simply put it's ok. My favourite track from this album is 25 ta life, heck it's the reason I bought the cd. For more...

5.0 out of 5 stars Taxi for Mr. Nice, April 27, 2003
This review is from: To Tha Rescue (Audio CD)
Since when did anyone make a hip hop record like this? This guy raps some of the most ludicrous rhymes possible over big DIY beats and comes off on top. Good cameos from Naughty by Nature, Too $hort, and E-Marvellous help to certify 'To Tha Rescue' as one of raps forgotten masterworks. Happy hunting.

5.0 out of 5 stars D-Nice! Check Yo Self, Before Yo Wrek Yo Delf, December 21, 1998

On his second CD, former Boogie Down Productions member D-Nice rapped hard, straight and true on such cuts as "Check Yourself" and "Straight From The Bronx." He didn't score any hits, but he certainly demonstrated his rhyming acumen and fluidity. Buy this!
