Useless "survival" guide,
This review is from: Thai Black Book - The Ultimate Thailand Survival Guide (Southeast Asia Black Books) (Kindle Edition)
I'm not a writer and English is not my native language too so my comment will be brief but hopefully clear.
I've been in Thailand many times. I've worked in Thailand for almost 5 years. I have Thai friends. I have Thai collegues. I had a Thai girlfriend. And more than 70% of what this gentleman has written in this book sounds something written from a tourist that go to Thailand from time to time just having some wild fun but not for really understanding the people and the country. Sorry Mr. Wilson, we need more interesting and real informations and facts than just your 1 week trips adventures!.. I can't believe you really know this Country as a resident. Thank you Andrea

Desperately in need of an editor (and how about a new writer),

Wow, these cheap ebooks are really letting in the non-writers into the publishing industry. Here are some precious excerpts:
"Thailand is not the USA, it's not the UK or Australia. It's not Korea..." "There are about 45 species of venomous snake in Thailand" and "There are more than 60 species of venemous snakes here in Thailand". Note that these two statements are separated by a single paragraph! "The roads are backwards here, like the United Kingdom" This is typical stuff. The author writes about black bears in Thailand, doesn't talk about real numbers (they are very rare), and then says he has never seen one. Wow, helpful. Grammar is generally poor, but more importantly what is presented is basically a mix of opinion, personal experience, and wikipedia. Who cares! My god, there are hundreds of blogs out there with much better written, informative and interesting information. Not worth the price.

First off -- whoever gave this 1 star must be trying to sell his own books or something. i don't know WHAT that guy is talking about.
This book is exactly what I was looking for. I looked all over the web and was actually worried when I was going to spend 2 freaking 99 for this thinking I was gonna waste my money. Crazy. After 4 hours of looking for something that gave me the ACTUAL kind of information I was looking for I found it right here. AWESOME!! Thank you!!!
