Easy to clean and empty.

Minor amounts of the really fine tea do get thru so chill tea and let it settle pour off slowly and discard sludge at the bottom.

This very-large tea filter works great for making Thai iced tea on the stove.

It serves it's purpose. I suppose it's not intended for prolonged use. After a few weeks the metal began to rust and I had to throw it out. Good for short time use, not intended to be permanent.

It is a bit smaller than i pictured it being but it turns out to be the right size. It is nothing fancy and it does not need to be - it works well and cleans up easy. Great value for the price.

I use this along with Por Kwan brand Thai Ice Tea Mix to make Thai Iced Tea, and it works wonders. It does develop a brownish hue because of the tea that you strain through it, but it does not matter. Great product, good price

So as you can see, the item description says 'made of stainless steel and muslin'. I bought it, and it was sent by MV Trading. What I got was made of some sort of cheap wire, and cotton/terrycot fabric. No steel, no muslin.

I contacted the seller, explained the item is not as described, and they told me 'muslin is not a fabric, it is a region'. Wow, that was innovative! Anyway, I helped improve their knowledge of fabrics by sending a link to the wikipedia page for muslin.

They responded by saying "If you have any problems with the words please contact Amazon. We didn't make up this listing." Another 'wow' moment!

I have informed Amazon about how the seller is brazenly misrepresenting the product, not willing to take responsibility, and hoping that people won't bother complaining about such a low cost product.

Maybe you will get the right product, as described, from another seller. Not from MV Trading!

Looks like a giant cloth condom. It does work really well though. Just make sure your pitcher is big enough to hold all the water and the tea since you use so much thai tea to make a pitcher.

This is a SUPER handy product for making LOTS of tea for people~ I love it! It does stain after a few uses, but I always hand wash it with a mild detergent and let it dry. Great investment if you make lots of iced/loose leaf tea!

It cost more to ship it than it did for the item but the item itself works great. The metal handle bends if there is too much weight in it but it can be bent right back into shape. I've made several gallons of Thai tea with it and it has served it's purpose well. An essential tool for making larger amounts of Thai tea.

This muslin filter works best with larger tea. The tea I bought was obviously made for a tea machine, it is very fine. But I love it and can drink it with no sugar at all, so I bought some paper coffee filters to fit inside this muslin one and it works!
