It's my own fault for not reading the sizes, but this is one tiny dinosaur! But he is cute. Would maybe stay together for display but not for play.

My son was about 5 when we bought this (and another) - he loved dinosaurs so much I figured I'd spend the money. But building it was hard, dad helped thru. most of it and the completed skeleton fell apart pretty easily. However not all was lost. My son loved just using the skeleton pieces for his play dinosaur dig and now, 3 years later he still has all the pieces and pulls them out occasionally to play with. So my advice, wait till your child is at least 7 before buying.
