The volcano experiment, which is the centerpiece of this kit, is nothing more than some fizzy baking soda coming out of a styrofoam "volcano". LAME does not even begin to describe this. I bought some mentos and a coke and jammed it inside just to make it more interesting. Better to buy a video about volcanos and watch it with your kid.
