More About the Author

Victor Giannini lives a fiendishly foolish lifestyle. It fuels his writing, which, despite any genre, strives for these four goals:

Evil becomes intelligible.
Justice is desirable.
Sorrow becomes endurable.
Love remains possible.

I bought this book expecting it to mostly contain humorous or philosophical stories - instead it's full of quite scary ones.

Perhaps it was just because I read it while on holiday in the tropics but this isn't a collection for the faint hearted likely to have disturbed nights after being scared.

I found the stories well written and effective in conveying a horror of death machines.

Thank You, Death Robot

Loved this book. Particularly title story by Victor Giannini.
Gripping, and scary too. Mr Giannini makes this robot seem so humanistic that you are interacting with it while reading. This writing would make a great movie.
Cannot wait for more of his stories.
