5.0 out of 5 stars The Babies hold their own turf splendidly as usual!!!, December 11, 2011

This review is from: Thank You, Angelica: The Rugrats Book of Manners (Rugrats (Simon & Schuster Paperback)) (Paperback)
Teaching good manners to young toddlers full of energy and life is often a delicate balancing act!

In this short story, it is time for a snack break for our friends The Rugrats. Angelica, the oldest of the gang, is in charge of keeping the peace in the playroom... But of course! She is dealing with Tommy, Chuckie, Cynthia and Spike who ask all kinds of challenging questions. Order turns to disorder for awhile before things get sorted out, and some lessons are definitely learned at the happy ending!

Ed Resto's great line drawings and full color pages compositions gives a rich visual context to Cecile Schoberle's smart and funny script.

1.0 out of 5 stars Irritating and pointless, November 5, 2003

This review is from: Thank You, Angelica: The Rugrats Book of Manners (Rugrats (Simon & Schuster Paperback)) (Paperback)
This book is vapid, unfunny, and promotes obnoxious behavior. It is allegedly about manners but the lesson is lost amid all the yelling and fighting. Like the series on which it is based, the children are smart-alecks and the parents are idiots. The story won't make very much sense to readers who aren't followers of the television show.
