I found this for a buck at a flea market. I have liked Waterboys and World Party for decades now. This is a great collection of songs. Thank You World and Is It Too Late? are from probably the best World Party album, Goodbye Jumbo. But for me the gems are the bluesy You're Invited To A Party and Nature Girl a throw back to way back with a 50's sound. The cover of the Beatles Happiness.. shows that he kind of does have his foot stuck in the past. You can hear that time all over these songs. The song S.E.X. has a Prince like R&B groove to it with some screaming guitar work. The re-mix songs are neither here nor there exactly, but if a song is good the re-mix generally does not improve on it. If you like World Party this is like finding a great EP of B-sides. Good Stuff. Listening to it right now as a matter of fact.

this cd is worth buying, as it has more than just one good song on it. in fact, just about all of the songs are pretty good if you like other things by world party. note that though it seems that if you like one song you'll like the others on this cd, the songs are significantly different from each other; it's not just basically the same song over and over as with most pop bands. enjoy!
