BUY THIS CD! It deserves to be heard, if there is one voice that can reach your soul, it is that of Welsh Diva Dame Shirley Bassey. If you are already familiar with her music, this is a must have. If you are a new fan, via "History Repeating," this is the best CD to further your Bassey education. The six new tracks are as good or better than most of what is out there today selling millions, I hope this receives the attention it deserves.Gwyn Eich Byd a Dymunaf I Chwi Lawenydd (May you always be well and be happy)

Celebrating 50 years in the music industry. Shirley Bassey returns with another album including 6 wonderful NEW tracks and a number of her most famous hits. The orchestrations are are top notch, unlike some other 1990's Shirley Bassey CD's. The album holds many surprises, like 'World In Union' with Bryn Terfel & two live recordings... Shirley remains timeless & her power and passion unsurpassed, she still sounds great after all these years. The album includes liner notes written by the dame herself & a number of glitzy photos. The show does go on for this lady!

If you are a true Shirley Bassey fan you most likely already have all of the songs on this album except for the new 6. This album is definitely worth buying just to get the new songs- especially Mi Amour which is absolutely great. I am hoping that they will be giving us an extended and more latin sounding version of this song soon from Shirley.

I bought it just for a few songs I was unable to find elsewhere, but was pleasantly surprised by the rest of the CD. Even now, Bassey's voice remains a powerful and vibrant instrument.
