I'm the author of many books, both fiction and non-fiction. My most well-known novels are a series of time travel books featuring history professor Alex Balfour. That series is now out of print, but they can be found through Amazon or ABE books. I still receive mail from readers about that series and hope to one day continue it on. I purchased 2 copies of this book to give to my Father and Father in Law for Father's Day. However, sadly, it definitely won't work for my father in law. This is a super cute and very humorous book that touches on nearly all aspects of fatherhood. It mentions everything from how dads help with diaper changing (when they can't get out of it) to helping fix things to teaching a child how to drive. It is a very cute, heartfelt book. However, it does talk about drinking a beer with the child when they're old enough and making a child visit all of those boring aunts and uncles. For these reasons it won't work for my FIL as he definitely doesn't drink (neither does my father for that matter). I realize these would not be problems for everyone, so for most people this is a fantastic little book and would make a super amazing Father's Day gift. I appreciate that the last couple of pages have lines so that the child can write to their Father something personal that they are grateful he did for them.
