Bob Hope has been the king of American comedy for ages. In his 97 years on this planet he has entertained us at home and abroad, and has even had a cameo in a James Bond flick (almost). And alhough everyone is probrably familiar with his comedic stylings, one of his talents is often overlooked... his ability to carry a tune. Or even if not, the ability to gather enough talent to back him up that the songs cannot fail. Bing Crosby, star of the Road film series, is represented in full force in "put 'er there," one of the best 'buddy' songs there is. So if you're a fan of Hopes, or even if you're not, this is a must have album of infectious melodies that will keep you humming them days afterward.
