What has happen to this women, with this beautiful voice?
I just knew Cheryl, was going to be big after "Thinks for my child." But then again, there was a lot of compitition that year when this song came out during the spring/summer in 1989.

Come to think of it, we had another british invasion on the R&B/Pop charts, that summmer with such groups/artist like; Loose Ends, Soul II Soul, Mica Paris, Lisa Standsfield. Particularly Soul II Soul when the singles "Keep on movin and Back To Life" hit the airwaves, after Cheryl release "Thinks for my Child" (and was knocked out the number one spot, by both singles from Soul II Soul) I think (sad to say) Cheryl got eclipse.
But hey! Who said she couldn't come back?

I have been looking for this album for 16 YEARS!(literally) I first heard "Me Myself & I" when I was 12 years old. I am now 28, and ever since I first heard this record on the radio, I've been trying to get ahold of it! The songs on this cd are one of a kind. I agree with the other reviewer; her voice is like an angel. You can't get quality singing like this nowadays. Over the years I'd manage to catch "Me Myself & I" on the radio, (which is my absolute favorite song on this album), and record it on tape. But every one of those tapes ended up wearing out due to overplaying. So I'm absolutely extatic that I can finally get this on cd!

I enjoyed this CD very much. I was pleased with Amazon's quick delivery of it, and have loved the end result of the music I now listen to often. Cheryl Pepsii Riley is a phenominal singer...someone I didn't really know of until discovering her through the Tyler Perry plays. I loved her voice and tracked down all the CD's I could find. This one that I got has a great sellection of hits and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
