Editorial Reviews

From Booklist

Gr. 4-6, younger for reading aloud. This will be a handy volume to have on your shelves at holiday time. Similar to Bauer's other books on holidays, this offers stories, poems, and songs that will be just as popular for school use as they are at home. Among the authors represented are Jack Prelutsky, Eloise Greenfield, and Johanna Hurwitz. Nadine Bernard Westcott's line-and-wash drawings, which appear on almost every page, are extra-nice touches.
