That Baby CD

Both my son (2 1/2 years old) and I (30 years old) adore this CD. It is now a staple in our car! I really enjoy folk/indie music, so the arrangements/renditions of these songs were perfect for me! And my son likes that he gets to play "his CD" in the car. Sometimes I find myself listening to the CD even when my son isn't in the car!!

I really dislike most "kids" music CD's because the songs are usually silly and the singers are annoying-- NOT THE CASE with "That Baby" CD. The musicians are lovely and the songs are just renditions of adult songs...not annoying kids songs that get stuck in your head!!

The only song I don't enjoy is "Brass in Pocket" because I think it's a totally inappropriate song to have on a CD geared towards children. We always skip that song. It's such a weird choice to have on there.

We love the Oy Baby CDs and really wanted to like That Baby... but we didn't. The music was a little too muzak for our taste. That said, the Oy Baby people stood by their word and gave us a full refund, no questions asked. So for customer service, they get an A+.

My 1 year old Grandaughter does not sit still for very much, but she loves this DVD and the CD. We watch it every time she comes over. I really kind of enjoy it too. Doesn't get on my nerves like some kids DVD's do.

I have a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and we watch this to wind down almost daily, they love it! My 3 year old says "that looks like Daddy and Me at Daddy's office..." amongst many other comments. My husband and I sing the songs all day too... I would definitely recommend this DVD to friends, I'm just sorry we didn't discover it sooner! Well Done!

I have a 2-year-old boy for whom I bought the CD/DVD bundle and he LOVES it! He will ask for "the girl one" to listen to the CD in the car and while he was initially uncertain of the puppets on one scene of the DVD, he grew to like those and he loves "Pony Boy". This is music that I don't mind hearing over and over and over and over again. It sure beats some of that insipid children's music that is foisted on us by some unnamed media giants.

I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and newborn girl and they love the music. We got the CD/DVD before Christmas and my son learned how to use the cd player just to put this on everyday when he gets home from school.

We are big fans of contemporary/alternative folk music and this is great for playing and relaxing.

I recommend this CD/DVD to all my friends, even those without kids, and they ALL not just love it, but are crazy for it! The songs bring back memories, but also create new ones as I see my children entranced by the music. The voice of the lead singer is soothing to us all, the music is phenomenal. Its the only CD we all never tire of (and that says a lot). The DVD is mesmerizing to my kids, they adore it. Rarely is there children's music that grown-ups can fall in love with, but this is just that! This CD/DVD comes with my highest recommendation!

This is a great CD for kids and grownups. My one-year old daughter gets a huge smile on her face every time she hears it, and I love to sing along. I bought extras so I can give one to all my friends with kids.

I love having a CD around that the whole family can enjoy. I don't know if it's the tone of the voices or the guiter, but as soon as I put this CD on, my daughter instantly calms down! She absolutely LOVES it!

My kids can't get enough of both the DVD and the CD. They play the DVD almost every day and my four year old falls asleep to the music on the CD every night. We have already bought the DVD as a gift for our entire extended family. It's a winner!
