5.0 out of 5 stars Strong traditional gospel, second to none, July 7, 2001

This review is from: He That Believeth (Audio CD)
No one does like gospel like Chicago singers. No choir does it quite like the Chicago Mass Choir, especially during the early years of 1990-1994.

On this album, there's traditional and contemporary music that's sure to please every listener. More importantly each song ministers to you in its own unique way -- increasingly important now that some gospel is not really gospel any more. Highlights: the title track, "He's Been So Good To Me," "Testimony," and "Jesus Is Lord." This is the type of CD that never gets old; instead, it gets better and better with every listen.

If you can find this CD (along with their "Call Him Up" and "Right Now" CD's), it'll be one of your better musical investments. Highly recommended.
