I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I grew up in Mt. Vernon and I remember all the players on the team. It was especially interesting to learn about where they are today. The book is well-written and has a natural pace to it because each player is telling his own story. Included are memories of Mt. Vernon, NY and the people and places that were so important to our lives. I believe it will be interesting to others who are not from Mt. Vernon but who played a sport in high school or were fans of a particular sport.
