A Good Book for Young Brownies,
By Sara Nielsen Legard (Cinnaminson, NJ United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Is That Really You, Amy? (Here Come the Brownies No. 8) (Paperback)
My daughter and I are enjoying the books of this series, as she has signed up for Brownie Girl Scouts for the fall. This book is about the longings and pitfalls of trying to act grown up -- a little too grown up for your age. As with the other "Here Come the Brownies" series books, it holds a gentle lesson or two about being friendly and helpful while being true to yourself. A good set of alternative role models in this world of sassy and sour-mouthed TV and cartoon characters.
