Format: Paperback
I found this book to be atypical of the traditional book in this genre as it depicts what actually happens in the daily lives of police officers instead of fantastical accounts of situations that would never happen in real life.

The author really brings in his real life experience and makes an effort to educate readers on the process of being a police officer, in addition to a strong story line, which I found very interesting and truly an added bonus.

I strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about what goes into being a police officer beyond what you just see on television or anyone interested in reading a good book in general.

I am still reading this book. But I must say that I am not a book reader, but when I am reading it, I find it hard to put it down. It keeps you in suspense and it's very interesting. I bought a copy of this book for my friend also and he also said it was very interesting, very well written and would also recommend it to anyone!!
Especially anyone in the police field or looking to get in the field.

Though skeptical at first, I'm so glad that I purchased this book. I find that it's difficult to stop reading! The story is great, characters are well-developed and the details of the day-to-day police work that Malloy includes provides the reader with a rare look into what the work and life of real police officers is all about. The Amazon price is great and the hard copy price is certainly worth it as well. Again, a MUST READ!

Enjoyed the story of the small town PD, written by a real police officer. Just like sitting around the table with your favorite neighborhood cop.

I enjoyed reading the book because Martin Malloy is a policeman in a township near where I live and my son knew him.
