RIVETING!!,
By Shancha "ReadAHolic" (Hartford, CT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: That Which Has Horns (Indigo) (Paperback)
This, by far, is the best book I have read in long time. In "That Which Has Horns" Miriam Shumba pens a captivating story about secrets, obession, deceit, infidelity, true love while encompassing the Zimbabwean culture. The characters are well developed. The plot is chock-full of twists and turns and there are some events that unfold that you will not see coming. Overall, a great read. This book kept me turning the page to the very last chapter. I'm looking forward to more from this author. Well done!

Wow! What an excellent follow-up to Miriam's first novel, "Show Me The Sun" . This book dives deeper into the characters and has the alluring backdrop of Zimbabwe. I was captivated throughout the book not only because of the twists and turns but also because of my desire to know what was going to happen to each of the characters. "That Which Has Horns" is a book you will not want to put it down.
