5.0 out of 5 stars HE'S DONE IT AGAIN!!!
I'm a mom of an two diehard "Aaron fans" and this one even got me singing it after awhile, especially after we just saw him in concert a couple days ago. There's ALOT of talent in that little guy and he has shown it once again in this single. My girls go crazy over this song and I'm surprised it's not worn out already! If it's not playing in their rooms, it's...

1.0 out of 5 stars INNOCENT SONG FINDS A WAY TO CAPITALIZE ON SHAQ
Yes Aaron Carter is 13, and yes he has a good voice, but this song is just plain corny.

This song capitalizes on Shaq - I am sure he got paid a large sum for the rights of his image and persona, and that just makes me sick.

Aaron - you better start with some stronger songs or you are going to end up in Debbie Gibson-Donny Osmond land very soon with this shmultz.

A Kid's Review

Aaron's songs are, just like, really bad. One,his back-up singers can't make Aaron's voice better. My little brother can sing better than him. Two,the "music" has no rythym to it.And three,Aaron's song "How I Beat Shaq" is just so unreal. As if some spoiled little rich kid could beat a pro basketball player.Like,I am so sure.If you don't believe me,listen to those samples up there. When you're done, you'll see what I mean.Save your money and give it to less fortunate people, don't give it to some millionare.

Aaron is soo talented and to prove it, listen to his cd, "Aaron's Party, Come Get It". You won't regret it. He has changed my life and has inspired me to be a singer and an actress. He truly is my role model!

1.0 out of 5 stars LIL BOW WOW IS YOUNGER AND CAN SING BETTER, May 17, 2001

Sorry Aaron who can't really sing little boy. People say you're 13 and perhaps that you are just having a little fun right now with your "so called songs." Trust me, the majority of the people don't like you and your voice. I mean Lil Bow Wow is like 10 or sumthin and he has sold much of his albums to millions of people. He even got snoop dog and eve to feature in some of his songs. Aaron, so far, only has Shaq, and sorry Shaq but you can't sing either. Carter is a disaster!

I think he's really saying "That's why I was beat up and stashed in a shack". He's just singing too fast. If you slow it down you can tell. Or just read the lyrics.
