5.0 out of 5 stars This is a fun DVD!, March 27, 2005
This review is from: That's How We Build A House (DVD)
I loved this DVD! My husband and I watched it first, to make sure it was appropriate for our children (ages 5 and 7). It was! Our son and daughter watch it at least 3 times a week and share it with their buddies. My son is really into tools and dresses up like the workers in the show. The main characters, Gwen and Danny, talk at a concept level that children can understand, yet it was interesting to me, too. There is a lot of information packed into a half hour, so children will definitely not be bored. A winner!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: That's How We Build A House (DVD)
dvd was great. it was educational and interesting. my childs curiosity and observance of the construction process was highly stimulated. It was simply illustrated with a nice touch of humor. I am recommending this product to all my "parent friends".

5.0 out of 5 stars My Kids Love It, July 1, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: That's How We Build A House (DVD)
My kids have watched every one of the kiddie-documentaries, from There Goes a Truck to I Love Airplanes, but this one is their favorite. I think it's because this show doesn't just celebrate something cool like trains or roller coasters. It shows people actually accomplishing something--starting with an empty lot and some plans and ending up with a house that people can move into. My kids can relate to that, and they love the details about electrical wiring and plumbing, not too technical and easy to understand. They watch this one over and over.
