This review is from: That's so Raven: 2 Good 2 Be True - Book #6 (That's So Raven (Numbered Paperback)) (v. 6) (Paperback)
In TSR's sixth book, Raven accidentally embarasses her friends. Also, Raven double-dates at the school's Rennisance dance, while queen Chelsea orders her into the stocks. THIS IS THE BEST BOOK YET!!! But the Rennisance story is the best out of the 2 stories. I love this book!!

This review is from: That's so Raven: 2 Good 2 Be True - Book #6 (That's So Raven (Numbered Paperback)) (v. 6) (Paperback)
In 2 GOOD 2 B TRUE by Disney, Raven, a teenage psychic, has visions that are sometimes helpful and sometimes harmful. At times Raven wonders if having psychic powers is a good thing or a bad thing.

In part one, Raven has a vision that her two best friends, Chelsea and Eddie, both do something they wouldn't normally do. Raven is so excited when she visualizes her friends overcoming their fears that she can't wait to share it with them. Having much confidence in Raven and her visions, both Chelsea and Eddie set out to make her vision a reality. When they set out to do the things they are usually afraid to do they both end up humiliated and hate the day Raven began having visions. Raven is upset that she has hurt her friends and ends up wishing visions were a thing of her past. She finds comfort in talking with her grandmother, who also shares the same psychic gift, but still wishes there was some way she could help her friends. Does Raven find a way for her and her friends to get back on speaking terms or is their friendship gone forever?

In part two, Raven has a crush on Gabriel Barnett. She thinks he is the cutest guy on the planet. There is a school dance coming up and Raven has a vision of Gabriel asking her to be his girlfriend. She is determined to bring this vision to fruition, if she can only get Gabriel to notice her. In the meantime, Ben Sturky, also known as Stinky Sturky, wants to ask Raven to the dance. She can't even conceive of the idea of going to the dance with Ben, so she avoids him at all costs while waiting for her Prince Charming to ask her. Ben finally catches up to Raven and asks her to the dance; reluctantly she says yes and Ben is on cloud nine. Shortly after, Gabriel also asks her to the dance and she also tells him yes. Caught in a dilemna, Raven isn't sure what to do. Should she break Ben's heart and tell him she can't go with him, or should she try to spare his feelings and go anyway?

2 GOOD 2 B TRUE is two funny stories where Raven isn't sure being psychic is a good thing. Her powers enable her to see the future, but also cause her to see more into a situation than there is. Children will learn the lesson of whether it's best to tell the truth or spare people's feelings. They will also see how true friendship prevails. What I enjoyed most was the camaraderie that Raven and her two friends display. You know through it all they will be there for one another no matter what.
