Product Description

Welcome to the wild, wonderful, world of word games! Word Games Pack is a group of 7 wacky and classic word games guaranteed to entertain even the greatest of minds. This fantastic mobile app game is perfect for people of all ages. Not only is it fun to play, but Word Games Pack is also educational. Strengthen your spelling skills, vocabulary, and word identification while you have a BLAST!

Word Games Pack uses words from the official scrabble dictionary!

A word search with a twist! Using words from a topic or a random list, this word search will keep players of all levels challenged. Don't worry about getting stuck because this word search comes with a Hint button.

Zombie Hangman is a uniquely animated and exciting game of hangman. Choose your letters by tapping the interactive keyboard on the game. Each incorrect letter is displayed on the right of the screen, in little colorful boxes. Carefully choose your letters! Each incorrect letter brings the zombie closer to YOU!

This crazy word game will keep you on your toes. Similar to the game Boggle, tap and drag your finger over each little square, highlighting the letters to make words. Letters can travel in all directions on this game so don't forget to look up, down, forward, backward and even diagonally. Longer words earn you more coins! Word shuffler comes with 3 game board sizes.

Word Mix is a vividly colored game of skill so get ready to stretch your fingers and get ready for some rapid typing! You will be given a set of letters and a 2 minute time limit. Your mission is to use these letters to make 3,4 and 5 letter words. Tap these letters to send them to their designated boxes. Scramble your brain to find all the words. Use the shuffle button to scramble the letters when your brain feels scrambled as well!

Tap the letters as they fall in order to make words. Watch as each letter illuminates with your touch! The longer the word, the more points you will get! Be careful, as the letters fall, they will stack up on you and it's game over if they reach the top!

Protect the planet from fallen words and use a cannon to shoot the correct vowel at each word. Watch as the vowel blasts the correct word into pieces. Do not miss too many targets! If 5 words crash into the planet, the planet will be destroyed!

How many words can you make in 60 seconds? Jumbler will give you a set of mixed up letters. Hurry up and tap the letters to make a word! Each word will give you points. Watch as the correct words slide off the side of the screen.

Word Games Pack mobile game app by That's So Panda has it all! It is amusing, exciting and has many easy to use features.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some Better than Others, but Still Worth a Download July 28, 2014

-- Daily FAOTD YouTube video review available on my YouTube Channel. Link is listed under my Profile, or simply search Tinfoot Tall.

An interesting word game pack, some better than others, but certainly worth the price of admission, free today, and usual .99 cents.

The game is pretty basic in permissions, only Network Access (Open Network Sockets), and although has Facebook code integrated, it seems to be inactive. In fact, I didn't come across a single link or push for it. There are NO analytics, NO outside adware, NO intrusive code modules, NO threats detected either by AVG, Malwarebytes or AppBrain software. And I only saw a Rate Us popup once in the two hours I was in the game.

Side note, there is no such thing as "undisclosed permissions" per se with Android Operating Systems. Your device will indeed show all permissions requested regardless of what may or may not be shown on a product description. Even Google Play's new nesting of permission categories can't hide from your device's default (or third party apps) method of listing permissions.

The game does run OFFLINE, exits cleanly at ANY screen with the back-key, and is in Portrait Mode only. It will be phone friendly with it's large design setup.

FALLING LETTERS: Tap letters to make a word as they fall and pile up. This is possibly the potentially most challenging of the lot. And for me, an unfortunate font choice made reading the letters a tad difficult. Os, Ds, Ms, Ws were actually a bit hard to distinguish at a glance.

WORD DEFENDER: Interesting concept. A word falls with a missing vowel, tap the correct vowel, then tap the screen to "shoot it" in order to complete and thus destroy the impending Do*m of D*ath By Lett*r.

Just a gawdawful mess. It seems like a disjointed, jumbled up pack of independently created/borrowed/bought games that by themselves probably wouldn't survive being even free.

On the Zombie Wordhunt, I tried a few words. The last word I tried - and died - was Egypt. The zombie got me because I tried A E I O U and marked each one as incorrect. So, maybe I wasn't choosing the right "E" in Egypt? Frankly, it was pretty boring anyway.

The easy mode on most of the games are so completely out of touch with reality it isn't funny. The Falling Letters game gives mostly V, X, Y, K, Z, and so forth - ON EASY. One game never once saw an 'A'! Worse, when the game was over, the GUI was messed up, failing to fill the fields with the values, and several different options such as Menu and Start Over were overlayed each other.

Easy mode on Word Defender is pretty difficult, too. Of course, the poor instructions don't help. You have to quickly choose the right vowel from the list below, and then click under the word that is coming down. On easy this is quite difficult even after you figure out how to actually shoot the falling words.

I don't know what language Word Mix is using, and my vocabulary for English is larger than average. Yet most of the words that seems to be accepted aren't anything I've ever heard or read in nearly 50 years on this planet. More crazy, is in order to return to the main menu, you have to hit "pause" to return to Word Mix menu and then return to the More Games menu.

Annoying Rate Nag

The Jumbler game crashed my phone the first time I launched it. Not an easy task to do, since it is a top-tier phone. I'm not sure why it is included, since it is nearly a copy of Word Mix.

2.0 out of 5 stars Winners and losers but mostly not fun! July 28, 2014

Like most collections of games this one has some weak winners and some losers in the mix. I found the controls difficult on some games. Some of the games just seemed to lag in the game play. Some games like hangman were just not fun and you get 5 misses and once you select AEIOU you probably have already missed 4 of the 5 selections. I found the games to operate to quickly and frankly not be a lot of fun. The app keeps asking you for a rating. This is like a bunch of free games jumbled together to be sold like they are worth something as a group I played them all and I felt that they were boring and not much fun.

There are 7 games in the pack and they are:

Falling Letters - Use the falling letters to form words to prevent them from stacking up and reaching the top of the screen. Letters fall very fast and in all directions so I hope you can read upside down. Unfortunately 80 % of the letters are consonants.

Word Defender - Words fall from the sky and you have to touch a vowel to load a cannon and shoot the word before they touch the ground. Five words on the ground and you are dead. The words fall way too fast!

Hangman - a random number of lines occur and you are expected to select the right letters to fill the spaces and find the entire word. There are no clues and you only get 5 misses. With every miss a zombie gets closer to get you.

Word Mix - You are given a series of letters and you are to find as many words as you can. This game is ok until the time runs out and there is no exit button. You have to hit the return button and the game quits.

Jumbler - You are given letters and you are supposed to unscramble them to create a word using all of the letters. If you do you get a new set of letters to form a new word.
