5.0 out of 5 stars Easily his best album yet! That's the truth!!!!, August 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: That's the Truth (Audio CD)
I just bought this album this past Monday, and I think it is just excellent. It begins with the long, up-tempo song "That's the Truth." I like decent length up-tempo songs, since most up-tempo songs are incredibly short. I like the next song, "It's a Beautiful Thing." It is a beautiful story song that I could listen to over and over again because love truly is a beautiful thing for those who appreciate it. Other good songs include "There's a World Out There," "Add Em All Up," and probably the best ballad on the album, "Really And Truly," with Deana Carter's help on background vocals. It is really and truly a beautiful song. I'd recommend this album to anyone who likes good country music with plenty of heart and soul. It is a shame that his music seems to be ignored. I am from Nebraska, and I have opened my ears, and I like what I hear. Keep it coming, Paul!

5.0 out of 5 stars His best work yet!, July 24, 1999
By A Customer

Wow. I really do believe "That's The Truth" is better than "Calm Before The Storm" and "Outside The Frame" combined. I bought it a week ago, and I've been playing it nonstop since. "It's A Beautiful Thing" is a great wedding song, in the tradition of "I Do", although never before have I heard the name "Lorali". I nearly cried the first time I listened to "That Hurts", just because it is a situation that nearly all of us have been in. Paul also did a wonderful job on the Brian Setzer tune that closes out the album, "Let's Live It Up". I would most definitely suggest this album to anyone!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best cd in my clollection, August 16, 2001

If you are looking for someone who is more interested in creating great music than in what is popular, then this is the cd for you. I was blown away by the power and emotion that Paul conveys easily. This is easily his best work yet. I can't wait for more. I am just ashamed that this cd received such little airplay in the U.S. and Paul was voted Best Male Vocalist in Canada. This cd is the best in my collection of true country music.
