Easily his best album yet! That's the truth!!!!,

This review is from: That's the Truth (Audio CD)
I just bought this album this past Monday, and I think it is just excellent. It begins with the long, up-tempo song "That's the Truth." I like decent length up-tempo songs, since most up-tempo songs are incredibly short. I like the next song, "It's a Beautiful Thing." It is a beautiful story song that I could listen to over and over again because love truly is a beautiful thing for those who appreciate it. Other good songs include "There's a World Out There," "Add Em All Up," and probably the best ballad on the album, "Really And Truly," with Deana Carter's help on background vocals. It is really and truly a beautiful song. I'd recommend this album to anyone who likes good country music with plenty of heart and soul. It is a shame that his music seems to be ignored. I am from Nebraska, and I have opened my ears, and I like what I hear. Keep it coming, Paul!

His best work yet!,

Wow. I really do believe "That's The Truth" is better than "Calm Before The Storm" and "Outside The Frame" combined. I bought it a week ago, and I've been playing it nonstop since. "It's A Beautiful Thing" is a great wedding song, in the tradition of "I Do", although never before have I heard the name "Lorali". I nearly cried the first time I listened to "That Hurts", just because it is a situation that nearly all of us have been in. Paul also did a wonderful job on the Brian Setzer tune that closes out the album, "Let's Live It Up". I would most definitely suggest this album to anyone!!!

If you are looking for someone who is more interested in creating great music than in what is popular, then this is the cd for you. I was blown away by the power and emotion that Paul conveys easily. This is easily his best work yet. I can't wait for more. I am just ashamed that this cd received such little airplay in the U.S. and Paul was voted Best Male Vocalist in Canada. This cd is the best in my collection of true country music.

This review is from: That's the Truth (Audio CD)
Paul Brandt has outdone himself. This album is the best I've ever heard in my life! Every song on it is great! My favorite's include "That's The Truth", "Scrap Piece Of Paper", "Let's Live It Up", and "That Hurts", although it's tough to narrow it down. I reccomend this CD to anyone.

I've listened to Paul Brandt since his first album "Calm Before the Storm" and thought to myself that he is not a one hit wonder. I had just purchased his latest "thats the truth" and was greatly impressed and felt that he has out done hiself. My favorite song is now "The Sycamore Tree"

I discovered Paul Brandt by accident through my daughter. I bought his "That's the Truth" CD and fell in love with it! My favorite is the "The Sycamore Tree". I have all 3 of his CD's and play them one after the other and that's the truth! I love the way he pours his heart and soul into his music. I'm looking forward to his next CD. Keep it coming, Paul! (P.S. I'm buying his CD's and giving them as Xmas presents this year)

Paul Brandt did a great job with this CD. The best song is by far "It's a Beautiful thing," but the other stand outs are "That's the Truth" and "Add Em All Up." "Scrap Piece of Paper" is a very funny story song as well. Great CD!! I highly recommend it.
