Before Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, and Sonia,There were these two. Mel and Kim Appleby. Two Dance divas with a heart of gold. Showin out(Get fresh at the weekend) is true pop classico. Respectable says no man will get in my way and i wont let them. These two women are the best of the S/A/W Generation (Stock/Aitken/Waterman for those of you that dont know, the 80's top dance producers) so oif you are a fan, get this!

It's so sad that Mel is no longer with us ....this was the last Mel & Kim record. Produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. Catchey, dancey and well sung. Kim Appleby still sings solo. Check her out!

I loved Mel & Kim when I first heard them during a trip to europe. I bought a cassette at the time, and luckily I was able to finally a CD with all my favorite songs, and then some. This is a very good compilation of their work and some of Kim's work after the death of her sister. I absolutely love the songs "Respectable" and "Showing Out." Those two songs alone are worth the pice of the CD.
