Celine's 1999 hit THATS THE WAY IT IS is one of my favorites by Celine. It's a song with so much energy and hope, you can't help but be lifted by this performance. The production is really good, Celine worked with different producers to give her a more modern sound. She still sounds absolutely breathtaking with her vocals. This song is really one of my favorites because of its message, (when you want it the most there's no easy way out/when you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt/don't give up on your faith/love comes to those who believe it/and that's the way it is). This was her first US single since "It's All Coming Back To Me Now". The remixes are nice too! Overall a real winner coming from Celine, check this one out!

The dance remix of "I Want You to Need Me" on this CD single is incredible! I can listen to it over and over. I do believe it has to be the best dance remix ever. Celine's voice is powerful and it is a very motivating and inspiring track. I highly recomend it to anyone who loves Celine Dion or loves great dance remixes.

Being one of Celine Dion's biggest fans, excluding non-commercial releases such as "The Prayer" (which I have on promo CD) my FIRST commercial Celine single purchase was the 5-track of It's All Coming Back To Me Now (which didn't cut the mustard even if it was a remix bit). But the second time around was DEFINITELY better in this case. There are two versions of both songs: the Album Version and Metro Club Remix of the first and Thunderpuss Radio and Club Mixes of the second. Each of the four tracks pack some punch unlike that stupid IACBTMN remix single. Recommended.

Those words scarcely describe the brilliance that is this single, particularly the Thunderpuss remixes of "I Want You To Need Me." First off, this is the full track listing: 1. That's The Way It Is (Album Version), 2. That's The Way It Is (The Metro Club Remix), 3. I Want You To Need Me (Thunderpuss Radio Remix), 4. I Want You To Need Me (Thunderpuss Club Mix). Sony hasn't released a USA commercial maxi single for Celine Dion since "It's All Coming Back To Me Now," so this release is long overdue and extremely worthwhile. The Metro mix of "That's The Way It Is" is quite old now, but has never been officially released in the US and is wonderful. The real show stealer on this single, however, is the Thunderpuss remixes of the Diane Warren penned "I Want You To Need Me." I am a huge Thunderpuss fan (previously known as Thunderpuss 2000 or TP2K), and even though they have released many classic, fabulous mixes before, (for the likes of Whitney Houston, Pet Shop Boys, Britney Spears, Eurythmics, Lara Fabian, etc.) this is THEIR BEST EFFORT EVER. This mix flows effortlessly, and the production is simply PERFECT. It's fast, fun, powerful, striking, and energizing. It also enhances the original version in a way that shows respect and a thorough understanding of the essence of the powerful emotions expressed in the lyrics. I cannot say anymore except that if you like Celine, you sinply must not allow yourself to pass this single by. The only shortcoming is the lack of the album version of "I Want You To Need Me," but this version is readily available on Celine's "All The Way...A Decade of Song."

I've waited a long time for her new US Maxi CD. It was worth the time! Brilliant new mixes (Thunderpush). The mixes show, how wonderful a remix can be. Buy it, it's worth your money.

Bravo Celine!

This single has to be one of the best Céline has ever released, I once read that Céline actually did not like to have her hit balad songs such as 'My Heart Will Go On' and 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now' remixed, she thought it was great for sales. Well, this single is just a total 180° for me! The Metro Mix is an amazing track, and with the Thunderpuss remixes are more than wonderful they are superbe!
