Great Party CD,
This review is from: Now Party Hits (Audio CD)
The "Now That's What I Call Music" franchise is known for bringing hit songs together on one compact disc. "Now That's What I Call Music-Party Hits," is another compilation that is sure to get the party started. The compilation disc features 20 songs from today's most popular artists. The CD opens with the Shop Boyz hit "Party Like A Rock Star," which is followed by the Mims song "This Is Why I'm Hot." Those two songs are recent hits, the compilation digs in the crates and offers up a few recent classic party hits such as Chris Brown's 2005 hit single "Run-It," Missy Elliot's 2001 hit single "Get Ur Freak On," and Outkast's 2003 single "Hey Ya." Other popular songs on the album include Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous," Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend," Rihanna's "SOS," and the Kanye West hit "Gold Digger." The compilation also features songs from Kelly Clarkson, Gorrilaz, Sean Paul, Chingy, Dem Franchize Boys, Kelis, Amerie, Christina Aguilera, and Kylie Minogue.

Some of the songs I was happy to see, but I was a bit disappointed that they threw in some older songs. Most of which I already owned because they were on previous Now's! I did enjoy the songs that were new and a couple of the older ones, which I didn't own.If you like other Now's, you'll pretty much like this one.

I liked some of the songs on here, but some of them have been played too much on the radio. By the time I got this cd, I'd pretty much heard all of it. But it was still a little bit good. This stuff is also mostly for the younger people, especially teenagers, I'm in my 20's and feel a little old for this stuff!
