The voices of Johnny Mathis and Deniece Williams! What a great blend. Don't let anyone mislead you. This is Johnny at his best. You will enjoy the harmonious music of these two legendary performers!

I have the suspect that this re-edition of the classic Deniece Williams/Johnny Mathis album is no official.
The sound is terrible (absolutely without bass frequencies) The cover of the cd is very cheap and the booklet is printed without any informations, lyrics, details of the reissue. Please do not waste your money for this horrible and fake reprint

Every song on this album is a classic. I just bought two more for my brother and sister as Christmas presents. I paid full price for each to ensure quality. Personally, I've listened to this album for decades.

Deniece and Johnny did two albums together if I'm correct. You might listen to this album and find most of its content corny. But in era that it came out it was probably really good at the time. Of course the vocals are excellent hence the three stars.

A Different and Uncommon Mathis,

This review is from: That's What Friends Are for (Audio CD)
One of the best Voice Stylists in the world, Mathis began in the 50s. After a golden era of great albums - many of them available here at Amazon - Mathis had no smash hit in the 70s except this 1978 duet album with Deniece Williams (what a voice!). Mathis seems out of his shore but it is a good album. A million sold out but ... I'd not recommend.
