Another insanely great album from Spottiswoode.,

Spotty is a little bit Randy Newman, a bit Ike Reilly, maybe some Tom Waits, and Bob Schneider thrown in for good measure. Where singer songwriters come in, he's the real thing, with a great band and a sense of humor thrown in for good measure. He's the real thing. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed. Every album of the last 5 years has been great, and this is no exception (including the other one released at the same time - Salvation). A new one is coming out any day, too.
