5.0 out of 5 stars Fresh and convincing, July 29, 2005
By David Bruce (Long Beach, California United States) - See all my reviews

While I don't usually delve into male singers that often, this Australian Idol runner-up has all the elements that I like in a performer. The songs are fresh, he sings them convincingly and there's enough melding of pop, rock, and country to keep my interest months after I first heard him (then, purchased this disc). It doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes either...

4.0 out of 5 stars Talent from Australian Idol, July 21, 2004

I was in New Zealand for a semester studying abroad and I didn't even know this guy was from Australian Idol. I listened to it at the CD store and I was impressed. I especially like Learn to Fly and New Beginning. I really enjoy this CD! If you like Sister Hazel-type groups you will like this album!

3.0 out of 5 stars Very, very cool!!, May 21, 2004
By Aileen May (Glendale, CA United States) - See all my reviews
My best friend in OZ sent this CD to me for a birthday present and I really am enjoying it very much. I like his voice and I like the music. I can't stop listening to it.

This says a lot coming from me, considering I can't stand "AMERICAN IDOL!"
