5.0 out of 5 stars This record rocks., November 24, 1998

An excellent album from a truly talented group of musicians. It's not often that every song on a record has the ability to get stuck in your head (in a good way). Both of Fig Dish's major label releases leave you singing to yourself and hoping that either their old label will come to its senses and sign them on for more, or that a new label will pick them up and give them the support they deserve. For more info., please see my review of "When Shove Goes Back to Push."

5.0 out of 5 stars Great album!, August 16, 2009

This has been one of my favorite albums since I first heard it in the 90's, and I had misplaced it. Couldn't find it anywhere but on here, and I was thrilled to get it so I could hear it again. There are killer hooks all over this album. Some of the tracks do get a little sleepy, and it probably wouldn't make it in today's iTunes, load a song at a time generation...but as a whole album beginning to end, it's awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite Album Ever, February 5, 2006
This review is from: That's What Love Songs Often Do (Audio CD)
I have over 500 cd's and records, and this one stands out far above any of them. I bought this back in 1995 after hearing one of the singles on a local college radio station, and since I first heard them play, it has stuck with me for the past 10 years. I recommend this album for anyone who has any interest in Rock music, and is a textbook copy of how Rock is meant to be played or heard.
