Editorial Review
Vegas Games offers many of the most popular casino games--craps, video poker, slots, blackjack, keno, baccarat, and the money wheel--but that doesn't necessarily mean that it makes any of these games are fun to play.
A more appropriate title for this game might simply be Games, since we associate Vegas with excitement and fanfare (both of which are lacking in this title). It's nearly impossible to tell if you've won at any of the games contained within this bargain pack. Unfortunately, Vegas Games offers no feedback on your victory. No messages. No flashing lights. Nada. The game doesn't even have sound effects, which would have been infinitely preferable to the grating music that plays as you gamble.
Stats are tracked so you can tell how much you've won or lost at the various games, but all records of your victories and defeats are wiped out when the Game Boy is turned off. Video poker is about the only game that is fun to play in this collection, but sadly that isn't enough to carry the game as a whole. --T. Byrl Baker
