This book contains all the info I wanted about guitar maintenance as well as a good deal that I didn't even know enough to ask. It is well worth every penny and then some.

In addition to highly detailed info that is the real deal about maintenance and repair there is a primer on tone and on making an educated purchase of new and used guitars. The author also gives detailed "case studies" about specific guitars by some of the best manufacturers around. There is a segment on electrifying an acoustic guitar and finally this author gives a resource list for tools, parts, etc.

Great images. Nice step by step instructions. Well worth the money if you have the desire and skills to do your own repairs. The cost of the book will pay for itself many times over compared to paying a pro to do some of the basic repairs that anyone can do with a little help from a book like this.

I bought this book so that I could learn how to maintain my guitar, and when I received this book I was surprised at all the information that it had on how to do what ever you need to do in order to get your guitar back into great sounding order, and how to keep it that way. I think every guitar player should have a copy of this book.
