First of all, I am a lover of the post-apocalyptic genre and this show puts us smack dab in the center of the chaos and confusion of a some kind of unspecified disaster. Has time stood still? Is everything about to go totally bonkers? What exactly is going on? We don't know and neither do the characters. These seemingly random strangers may, at first glance, seem a little formulaic but as the episode goes on we are given clues that perhaps these people are each fulfilling a role. Are they actually pawns in some ancient, biblical story? Is everything about to be turned on its head? The answer, I suspect, is YES! And I think it must have something to do with that scary as hell creature in the woods! Who or WHAT is he/she?! I don't know but I WANT TO FIND OUT! This is binge watch material for sure. Hope Amazon has the smarts to pick it up because I'm sure I'm not the only one who want MORE MORE MORE!!!!

This show got my attention right from the get go. I thought it was another end of the world kinda of series, but the ending totally changed my mind. I kept saying to myself,"WTF,WFT". Ending was the best. I hope this series continues. Would like to see where they go from here.

There are so many apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic shows out there today (e.g., Revolution, Falling Skies, The Dome, etc.) In spite of that, I really want to see what Chris Carter can do with this genre.

I didn't know what I'd expect when I started watching this. Admittedly I was not impressed in the beginning--particularly about the acting and the lack of chemistry between the characters at first. I also didn't appreciate the lack of back stories save for the woman in the beginning, as I wanted to know who these characters were before they ended up in the parking lot. I was going to give this two or three stars at first, but as the pilot went on I ended up LOVING it.

As I mentioned before, the characters didn't particularly have any chemistry together. That could be because they were complete strangers, but it took me midway through to appreciate all of them. As the pilot went on I was completely sold--I ended up caring for them by the end. Another thing that grabbed me from the get-go was of course the strange "event" that was going on. This was executed brilliantly throughout the pilot. We're giving hints and clues as to what was going on, but by the end we know this: that, somehow, all these characters are connected. The pilot reminds me of Lost in a way--and that's a good thing. The only thing I don't like about the mystery is that if this doesn't get picked up as a series, we won't know what actually transpired--so Amazon, PLEASE PICK THIS UP AS A SERIES! DON'T LEAVE US HANGING!

tl;dr: The pilot might put you off at first, but keep watching! You won't regret it!

I gave this 3 stars because I want to know more about this "end of the world" scenario, but the characters are awful! they are really predictable, stereotypical, and one dimensional. Some the situations the characters are faced with seem a bit far fetched and their reactions to them, unrealistic. I am curious about the relation of their same birthdate, and I hope this isn't a huge bite off of "Identity". I am also curious as to the tattoo meaning, and the red eyed blue skinned demon/alien. So I'm 50/50 on this pilot.

WOW! This IS such a great pilot! I didn't know what it would be about going into it and I still didn't know half way through the pilot but that's what it makes it so great -- it's unexpected. It's a really great beginning to what will be a truly interesting storyline that goes beyond the supernatural. These are really flawed people who seem like are being brought together for a reason and I so anxiously can't wait to find it.

It reminds me a little bit of Lost, Flash Forward and the creepiness of The X-Files. I think that's a pretty solid combination. Sure, it may scare some people away because a lot of those shows didn't last BUT not every show is the same and I think this is a show worth exploring. I am so excited to find out what happens next. I want to know these people, I want to know their connection, I want to know this creature.

I also want to see more of the cast. This is a really interesting cast. I love that Jamie Kennedy is doing something very different from what we've seen. I think Adrian Pasdar is such a strong and interesting actor and Arielle Kebble is just gorgeous and so much fun to watch. I adore Sharon Lawrence and love that she's playing an older women and slightly racist. LOL! I love it. And Aldis is just amazing and so good at making you love/hate this character which I imagine you will grow to love him. The French girl Louise Monot is so incredibly gorgeous and fun to watch. And the cop - Jaina Lee Ortiz is spectacular. I mean to make a cop so vulnerable yet strong is often hard to do and she did it so well. I am interested to know her story so much more. She's a young cop with such a huge responsibility. There must be something there and I can't wait to see more.

And HOLY FUDGE that creature at the end...
