I bought this book because it was suggested to me by someone else but I've regretted it ever since.
J.F. de Clerck
This material should be taught in a more 'fun' way than just solving very long differential equations that go on for pages and pages.
James Chiocchio
This textbook was very easy to understand and was presented logically and in a way that was extremely easy to follow.

Not a fan of this textbook at all. The author presents the material in a dry, boring and non-intuitive way that makes you not want to learn. I learned 100% of the material straight from my professor's lectures--they were much more helpful than this book.

There are some good sections that help you practice material, but there are other sections that just go into way too much mathematics for circuits that are easily solvable. There are a few mistakes here and there, but nothing too major.

This material should be taught in a more 'fun' way than just solving very long differential equations that go on for pages and pages. If the book is required for the class, get it; but attend your lectures because you wont be able to learn a whole lot from the book. If the book is optional; definitely avoid it and look into an alternative.

Good luck!

This textbook was very easy to understand and was presented logically and in a way that was extremely easy to follow. I am a math person and so I loved the way that the authors derived many of the equations that they used throughout the text, something that my professor did not do in my class. I think this textbook is a great resource, and I will be keeping it for future reference instead of selling it back.

I'd like to advice all the people that study circuit analysis at home without the help of a teacher to stay away from this book.

I bought this book because it was suggested to me by someone else but I've regretted it ever since. The problem with this book is that it presents a schematic and then it goes on for a few pages to describe the analysis techniques for that schematic while after one page the schematic that's being referred to is already out of eye sight. It forces you to keep on switching pages while you try to keep track of the analysis techniques and it does this over and over and over until you get totally disoriented and loose track of everything. This happens in the entire text.

Another problem is that it lacks detailed worked examples of applied analysis techniques. This would have been an enormous help when you fail to understand the lengthy descriptions. But in this book they are not there.

If you study circuit analysis on your own, then buy the text from Alexander: Fundamentals of Electric Circuits. This book is an absolute artwork. It is very clear and contains numerous worked examples of analysis techniques.

This book has amazing examples and is very good at teaching the concept of Linear Circuits. I found it very useful for my class. Solutions manual was very helpful as well on Chegg, at least for the chapters they actually had examples on.
