More About the Author

Professional Angelologist and author, Chantel Lysette has been connecting with the Divine Realm of Spirit her entire life. Like most of us, when her intuitive gifts were discovered, she spent more time trying to deny them than hone them. But Archangels, being as persistent as they are, explained, "You can go quietly. Or you can go kicking and screaming. Either way, you will fulfill your life's purpose."

Over the past decades as an Angel Intuitive and Spiritual Messenger, Chantel has shared her inspiring life story with multitudes, relaying her life's triumphs and tragedies as a woman struck by a life-crushing crisis only to rise up again after surrendering to the Divine Realm of Spirit and renew her soul. Her story is one of compassion and redemption. And through her experience and example, Chantel establishes a unique and profound connection with her clients, giving them a distinctive, yet down-to-earth perspective on spirituality.

Open, straightforward and often called "sassy and irreverent", Chantel expresses that her life's mission is simple: to help others establish and maintain a life-enhancing relationship with the angels and other spiritual mentors. When one connects to his spiritual teachers, he can harness his intuitive and healing potential, discover his own spiritual identity, and gain insight into his role in what Chantel calls, "God's Great Equation."

I gave Chantel's first book to a friend for Christmas last year, and then ended up borrowing it until the friend said, "Get your own copy." So I did. When The Angel Code came out, I loved Chantel's style of writing and the vivid way she had of depicting the angels so much that I bought her second book without even reading what it was about. I knew it would be good, and that was enough.

The first time I tried to use this workbook, I made the mistake of "skimming" and not doing the exercises precisely as Chantel laid them out. So of course the exercises didn't work, and that's my fault, not hers. Six months later, I was ready to try again--this time following her words and her instructions.

It all works. Boy, does it work.

This is a writer who knows what she's talking about, and who puts the responsibility for connecting with the archangels squarely with the reader. Chantel doesn't sugar-coat her information, she doesn't tell you everything will be sunshine and roses after you figure out YOUR best way to connect with whichever archangel(s) you feel comfortable with. She doesn't present them as fairy-tale, New Agey guardians who'll make your life allll better. There's a reason why a lot of the stories about mortals and angels begin with the angel saying, "Fear not." These are not pretty, fragile, transparent-winged innocuous creatures...unless, of course, that's how you really need them to appear to you.

She lays out how to connect with the archangels, in ways no one else has ever done that I can find. But it's up to you to read and absorb the valuable information (and experiences) she relays, think about what she's said, DO THE EXERCISES STEP BY STEP AND DO not SKIP THE GROUNDING, and see what you have on the other end.

I've been a "New Ager" for years. (I am 52). I have never worked directly with Angels. They have shown up in my life, over the years, but it wasn't until recently that it became obvious (at their insistance) that I get to know each of them personally.
Chantel has a warm and comforting sence of writing style. She comes across like the girlfriend you would go to when you have personal problems in your life. You can tell she has "been around the block" a few times and can give you the informative stuff you need in which to pick yourself up off the floor and continue on with life. I enjoyed her "take" on each of the Angels. Her lists of info are very handy in matching up the Angels that show themselves to you. I remember Ariel showing up and I busily thumbing thru the book trying to matching her up. She arrived in a large garden hat, white short sleeved shirt, blue skirt, and lots of jingling necklaces. "Oh no, not that one. Keep on reading, dear." she'd say as I went thru the Angel list. I guess I should have started from the front of the Angel list and not the back. ;-) The Angels have an amazing sense of reaching out to you in a way that is not threatening unless you really need a big kick in the pants. Even then, their booming voices become more soft once they know they have your attention. Metatron had one of those booming voices that got my attention. He was busy at the time but needed to tell me of a few things concerning Akashic records. Scared me to death at first. I think he figured it out because he softened his voice at bit after the initial scare. Sandalphon, Gabriel, and Michael are all loving, gentle, and firm when needed. I look forward to meeting all the rest. Don't call on the Angels unless you really want to meet them. With so much negativity in the world, the Angels are eager for you to know that you have nothing to fear. They stand ready and willing to teach at a moments notice.

After gleefully devouring the information in Lysette's first published book (Azrael Loves Chocolate) I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into her second masterpiece that delved further into establishing deep and meaningful connections with the Archangels. Lysette does not disappoint. Her same delightful, thoughtful, and sassy style come across in this book as she provides more of a "how to" instructional manual on connecting and effectively communicating with Heaven's finest helpers. For individuals like myself, communicating has often been a one-way street, and with Lysette's instruction the reader learns to pick up on the subtle aspects of angelic communication so that the communication soon becomes the two-way road it was always meant to be.

Make no mistake. This is a workbook...emphasis on the work. There are many meditation exercises, all of which are designed to 1) help the reader determine which perceptive sense is strongest for them (clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, etc) and 2) to aid the reader in strengthening not only the sense they are strongest at, but also to develop and hone their skills in the other sensory fields. However, the author takes you further in the art of meditation in ways that can potentially lead to greater self-discovery. I would recommend her chakra "room" walkthrough meditation for anyone studying chakras, spiritual healing, or basic meditation as her walkthrough provides insight into aspects of the reader's own spirit. Even veteran meditators can discover something new and fascinating about themselves during this activity.

Lysette introduces a few new Archangels that were not mentioned in her first book: Ariel, Haniel, Raziel, and Zadkiel. Of course, she includes all of our old friends from Azrael Loves Chocolate, as well.
