I was well worth the wait, as I never thought I'd ever see a book collecting his work.

I was always one of those weirdos who favored PLAYBOY'S cartoons over all else...some may have turned first to the centerfold, others clamed to read the articals, for me, my first stop was Little Annie Fanny. Ever since I can remember, one of my favorite catoonists was Doug Sneyd. His style distinctive, his gags amusing and his women absolutely gorgeous! Alas, there was but one of his cartoons per monthly issue...well, this book has them all! The reproduction of Sneyd's artwork is as spectacular as it was in the pages of PLAYBOY and there's no waiting a month to see the next one. Page after page of thoroughly delightful Doug Sneyd cartoons many of which I didn't recall seeing before and all of which I enjoyed completely. The commentary and step by step demonstrations are a bonus, but it's all about the cartoons and any fan of Doug Sneyd's masterpieces will be pleased with this must have tome!

Well the world is full of surprises. Not only do we get the complete collection of Gahan Wilson's cartoons for Playboy last year, but now we get a book about one of my favorite Playboy artists, Doug Sneyd. I never thought I'd see such a book, as I've been a Sneyd fan, since way back when Playboy was being published during the 20th century. Sneyd is an artist who always had his characters dressing in the fashion of the day, unlike the other Playboy artists who seemed to draw their characters as though they were still living in the fifties (which I liked as well). Also, Sneyd draws the most beautiful, voluptuous ladies of them all, so much that I always thought they looked much better than the actual pictures of the playmates inside the magazine.

So now, at long last, another dream comes true and we get to feast our eyes on the great watercolors by Sneyd (by the way I always thought his name was Sheyd as his "n" always looked like an "h" to me). I was well worth the wait, as I never thought I'd ever see a book collecting his work.

You certainly can't go wrong with this book, and if you like sexy cartoons, it just doesn't get better than this.

Highly recommended !

High quality book with great reproductions from a very talented cartoonist! I really enjoyed the sprinkled comments throughout the book, many made me smile. The cartoons are a bit more explicit than books reproducing the earlier cartoonists like Jack Cole and Eldon Dedini, but not offensive at all. Highly recommended!

This is a great collection of Sneyd's cartoons from a broad period. Full of cartoon women who know what they want, and men who'll give it to them! Too bad there's not a more complete collection, but I like this one quite a lot.

Good quality paper. The cartoons are reproduced flawlessly as the colors are sharp and bright. The binding is tight and the book has a bit of weight to it. If you are fan of the art, this book is worth the money.

This was a great hard back book, fill with so much adult humor. I was happy to pick this book up, because I love the way Doug Sneyd draws his characters with such a bright and happy feel to them.
