Dr.Henry Abramson is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of History and Judaic studies at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Dr. Abramson is the guest curator of the Art of Hatred exhibit at the Jewish Museum of Florida. He is author of "A Prayer for the Government: Ukranians & Jews in Revolutionary Times (Harvard 1999), and numerous scholarly articles on the depiction of Jews in antisemitic art & caricature.
Henry (Hillel) Abramson is a specialist in Jewish thought and history based in Miami Beach, FL. A native of northern Ontario, He received his PhD in History from the University of Toronto in 1995 and went on to visiting and post-doctoral positions at Cornell, Harvard, Oxford and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the author of several books, many articles in scholarly journals, and has appeared in historical documentaries. His research has been recognized with fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and he has lectured in North America, Israel, Europe and Japan. H holds the "Excellence in the Academy" award from the National Education Association, and is currently Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Services at Touro College South.
